Hello!
I’m Louisa Frahm, founder of Frahm Focus and a seasoned news SEO enthusiast with a deep pop culture passion. As a San Diego native with bicoastal work experience, I pride myself on combining East Coast editorial acumen with West Coast pizazz.
My grandmother was my best friend during my childhood. With her strong influence, I embraced being an old soul from a young age. Combining that upbringing with my digital editorial background provided a special gateway to connect with multiple generations throughout my life. From my unique name to my eclectic interests, I have always stood out from the pack.
I am very proud of my educational background. From 2008-2012, the University of Colorado at Boulder drew me out of California for a journalism degree with an emphasis in broadcast news. Many moons and newsrooms later, I achieved a master’s degree in communication management from the University of Southern California in 2021. Though I never traditionally studied SEO while I was in school, my chance breakthrough into the industry via an entry level role at Internet Brands changed the trajectory of my life.
I built my SEO foundation at Wpromote digital marketing agency, working on multi-channel campaigns for a wide array of e-commerce brands. Though the fast-paced agency life suited me, in-house news SEO ultimately became my signature industry niche. Teaching editorial SEO best practices to time-strapped journalists over the past decade taught me the importance of translating complex themes into digestible tactics. The same priority is evident in my personal mantra toward search strategy: Simple is not stupid.
Amid the AI boom, external noise is at an all-time high. The game has evolved immensely, as search performance isn’t defined by the first page of Google anymore. If you feel overwhelmed, you are not alone! With Frahm Focus, my primary goal is to simplify workflows by championing straightforward strategies that can continue to make a lasting impact. If you want to cut through the chatter and get a better grasp on search concepts that really matter for your business, I am ready to help.
Audience engagement calls for a curated approach, especially in the multimodal search era. If you’re ready to step up your knowledge, I would love to explore which options can take your brand discoverability to the next level.
